The next Alumni & Family Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2016.

You are invited to join us at the Alumni & Family Day Luncheon. This year, we are proud to announce our Keynote Speaker -- actor and activist Danny Glover. He will share his experience attending San Francisco State University and its influence on his career. You will also enjoy a delicious three course lunch while reconnecting with fellow alumni.

Noon - 2 p.m.: Luncheon and Program, Cesar Chavez Student Center, Jack Adams Hall

Cost: $40 per person. The ticket includes lunch, program and admission to all Festival activities.

Golden Society Reunion Reception

10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Attention Golden Gators! SF State and the SF State Alumni Association salute all graduates from 1965 and before. Celebrate your Golden Society Reunion as part of our all-college Alumni Day! You’ll have an opportunity to reminisce with fellow alumni marking their 50th anniversary and beyond as we honor the contributions you made as students, and continue to make to SF State and our community.

The reception will feature a lively interactive presentation on "The Race for the Presidency" with Professor Emeritus Gerald Heathers followed by a luncheon with actor and activist Danny Glover.

10:30 a.m.: Coffee reception, Administration Building Lobby
Noon: Three course luncheon, Cesar Chavez Student Center, Jack Adams Hall
1 – 2 p.m.: Program and induction of 50 year alumni

Cost: $30/per person for our alums who graduated in 1965 and earlier. The ticket includes reception, program, Alumni & Family Day Luncheon, and admission to all Festival activities.

Alumni & Family Day Festival

Come join the fun at the Alumni & Family Day Festival! Bring your kids to enjoy bouncy houses, face painting, and carnival games. The Festival will feature complimentary food, live music and entertainment. It’s a perfect time to come back to the beautiful campus, reconnect with fellow Gators, and meet new Alumni.

Taste Local Brews with Fellow Gators!

2-3:30 p.m.

Join your Alumni friends for a fun and educational beer tasting presented by Local Brewing Co. Regan Long, SF State Alumna and Founder/CEO of Local Brewing Co., will share with us the art of beer making and her experience building a successful brewery and beer bar in San Francisco. Join us to sample several handcrafted, local beers while catching up with fellow Gators.

We will be selling tickets at the door before the tasting. CASH ONLY. You must be 21 years old to attend. ID is required for all participants.

Make your Holidays even sweeter by learning how to bake delicious treats during this interactive workshop on Basic Yeast Breads for the Holidays. Master the dough making and shaping techniques and bake delicious cinnamon rolls or chocolate babka with fellow Alumni.

Book reading with Author and SF State Alum, John Mindermann ‘59
SF State Bookstore
2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

In Pursuit is John Mindermann's insider perspective of one of the biggest political scandals in American history -- Watergate. He worked as an FBI agent on Watergate and witnessed the shadowy intrigue that episode trailed in its wake. The book also follows Mindermann's years growing up in San Francisco, documenting his time on the police force. Meet the author and purchase a book after the reading.

Wrestling Outdoor Duel with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

The duel will start with a ceremony recognizing the Lockett Brothers. T-shirts will be thrown out to the fans when the Gators have a takedown.
