Give back as a Braven mentor

Support current SFSU students as they take the first steps into the professional world! Through our partnership with the nonprofit Braven, students participate in a semester-long career development course — and alumni have two powerful ways to get involved. As a Professional Mentor (June – September), you'll coach a student 1:1 through their job or internship search over 12 weeks. As a Leadership Coach (August – December), you’ll facilitate a cohort of students through Braven’s Accelerator course, helping them build career roadmaps and professional skills that will serve them for years to come. Both roles are fully virtual and Braven provides all the training and materials you need. Alumni volunteers make an especially meaningful impact. Students value hearing from someone who knows exactly what it’s like to be in their shoes.
